This type of börek features a thin dough similar to sıkma, but the cooking method differs: once rolled out, the filling is evenly distributed over top, then the dough is folded to create a large half-moon shape before being cooked on a skillet.
Serve them as a snack with tea, or make it a meal with a salad. You can adapt the filling to what you’ve got on hand — try cheese, parsley, grated zucchini sautéed with onion, or boiled potatoes seasoned with onion and herbs.
