Limor’s great-grandparents came to Israel from Odesa before the Communist Revolution with wonderful memories about their city of origin. Her great-grandfather, who became a well-known artist in Israel, had originally graduated from the Odesan Art School. He reminisces fondly about one café in the center of Odesa, called Fanconi, where artists and local intelligentsia would gather.
