Wild Animal Cake Pops

We have chosen lions and monkeys for these wildly chocolatey cake pops, but why not experiment with other favourite animals? We find that ready-coloured cake covering (chocolate buttons or candy melts available from specialist cake decorating shops or online stores) gives the strongest colouring and is easiest to work with so we have used them here, but you can use white chocolate coloured with gel or paste food colouring if you prefer.
