Soccer Fan Cupcakes

We have topped chocolate cupcakes with buttercream grass, and footballs and team shirts made with ready-to-roll fondant icing. Needless to say, you should make the shirts in appropriate team colours! Making the footballs is a little fiddly, but the key is to remember that the black panels are five-sided pentagons, and the white panels are six-sided hexagons. It is quite easy to find ready-made football decorations if you prefer.
