Here is a slightly different slant on the usual Indian grilled chicken. Serve it for tiffin accompanied by a fresh green salad and chapattis or plain rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 whole chicken breasts, boned, skinned and halved
  • the juice of 2-3 limes (depending on their size)

Method

  1. Place the prepared chicken breasts in a shallow dish. Combine the lime juice and garlic and pour over them. Combine the spices and sprinkle them over the chicken. Cover the dish and let the chicken marinate for at least 45 minutes, turning the breasts over 2 or 3 times.
