  • About

There are several varieties of these semi-hard balls with a fudge-like consistency. They are made from either lentils or semolina; sometimes a mixture of both. Traditionally, luddoos are part of the food offerings to the elephant-headed god, Ganesh, during his festival in the late summer. The most delicious ones come from around the Bombay area. These particular luddoos are made with semolina and have a slightly chewy, fudge texture.
