Another hot drink, this one would definitely warm up those avid golfers who insisted on playing right at the end of the season when it became really cold.

Ingredients

  • 2 limes, quartered
  • ½ a firm banana, cut in half
  • 2 3-

Method

  1. Tie the fruit and spices into a bag of cheesecloth or muslin and place it in a saucepan. Add the burgundy and heat it until the steam rises.
  2. Discard the bag of spices and add the rum and brown sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add the soda water and serve, foaming, with a curl of lemon peel on top of each cup.
