In 1927 the then head of the Imperial Bank in Sargodha, a man called Hutcheson, known to everyone as “Hutch,” decided to give a Christmas party at the Bank house. He and my aunt got together and determined that it-would be a totally different party from the usual affairs, something which everyone would remember. It was to be a pyjama party.
