This is a simple Czech recipe that I remember eating frequently in my childhood. Most Czech and Slovak households have a manual pasta maker and if you have one you might like to make your own.
Cook the pasta in salted boiling water for 4-6 minutes or according to the packet instructions. Drain.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan, add the almonds, ground poppy seeds, cinnamon and vanilla sugar, and cook, covered, over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
