Ingredients

Black sesame seeds 200 g
Water 1.5 litres
Yellow (step) sugar (peen tong) 230 g

Method

  • Pan-fry black sesame seeds until fragrant. Grind with water and sugar to get a paste.
  • Cook paste over very low heat, stirring gently, for 15–20 minutes. Serve hot.
