Candied Orange Peel

Candied orange peel is a widely used garnish for glazed yeast pastries or mixed in with nut and poppy seed pastes. Despite the northerly climate, citrus fruits have been available in Poland for longer even than tomatoes, imported from Central Asia as early as the fifteenth century.
