  • About

Lukier is the simple icing used to top everything, including yeasted buns, cakes, cookies, and donuts. There are a few varieties, and they can all be thinned or thickened to your liking. I suggest adding a bit less liquid than each recipe calls for, adding it spoon by spoon and mixing to check for your desired opacity and texture.

Ingredients

Lukier

  • 2 cups [240 g] confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp [30 to 45

Method

Whisk together the confectioners’ sugar and water, milk, or lemon juice in a small mixing bowl until smooth. This doesn’t keep so make your glaze as needed for your recipes and use immediately.
