Dried radish (kiriboshi daikon) and hijiki seaweed are my must-have items in the kitchen at all times. They are rich in minerals such as calcium, magnesium, vitamin C and dietary fibres. This is a braised dish that keeps well in the freezer, so you can cook big quantities at one go. It is also great as a side dish for bento lunchboxes.
