Juicy meat patty with rich sauce over rice is a popular Hawaiian dish in Japan. I like demi-glace sauce, but you can replace it with any type of gravy you like. Choose minced meat that has some fat for a juicier patty.

Method

Prepare hamburger patties. Heat oil in a pan. Stir-fry onion over medium heat until half translucent. Leave to cool until lukewarm. Mix with milk and breadcrumbs. Let it sit for a few minutes.
Mix minced meats, garlic and egg with milk mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Knead well to incorporate. Shape 2 patties and dust evenly with flour.
