Here, donut holes are promoted from assistant to head honcho. To form the “holes,” spoonfuls of dough are rolled between the palms of your hands into a crowd’s worth of delicious round mini donuts. If not eaten right away, these are still tasty the next day; just warm them for 5–7 minutes in a 300°F (150°C) oven.
