Place live crawfish in large pot of cold water—enough to cover. Add salt and let sit for 30 minutes. This will clear out some of the mud.
Place large stockpot on stove with 3 gallons of water. Place all seasonings plus corn in water and bring to a boil. Add crawfish and potatoes to boiling water. When crawfish begin to boil, cook for 15 minutes. Turn off heat and let sit for about 30 mi
