  • 8 large mirlitons (diced)
  • 10 medium onions (sliced)
  • 2 green peppers (diced)

Method

In a large bowl, combine mirlitons, onions, and green peppers. Cover with cold water and ice cubes; let stand for three hours. Drain well. Boil remaining ingredients then add vegetable mixture. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Pour into Mason jars. Fill jars with liquid and seal. Allow vegetable to age several weeks on shelf for best flavoring.
