Peel squash and cut in half. Remove all large seeds. Cut halves in thin slices. Season squash with salt and white pepper. Pour the milk into the beaten eggs and whisk together. Pour egg mixture over squash and let soak for 3 minutes while heating oil in heavy skillet. Dredge squash in bread crumbs, coating both sides well, then place in hot oil.
