This recipe is so wonderfully basic that you can give your well-exercised brain a rest, whilst simultaneously lighting your mental fuse with a pasta recipe full of veggies.

Ingredients

  • 200 g fusilli or your favourite pasta shape
  • ½ broccoli, cut into florets

Method

  1. Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water with a pinch of salt, according to the packet instructions. Five minutes before the pasta is ready, add the broccoli florets.
