At this time of the year, hot wine seems to be a thing. Apart from anything else, it disguises any suspect smells that have started to emerge in your student house. It arguably smells better than it tastes and that is honestly no bad thing. Get your housemates in the kitchen, sing a few carols, and enjoy a toasty mug of mulled wine. Lightly sweet, spiced and fruity – Christmas in a drink. Just avoid using it for drinking games – it would be a huge error of judgement to attempt to down this.
