Try this super-easy banoffee pie recipe when you need a last-minute dessert. It takes just 15 minutes of effort and 45 mins in the fridge. With its awesome combination of banana and toffee, banoffee pie is hard to beat. This one has a biscuit base and is made on the hob, so you’re just four simple steps away from dessert heaven.

Ingredients

  • 100 g digestive biscuits
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 tin

Method

  1. Place the biscuits in a plastic freezer bag and bash with a rolling pin (or other heavy implement!) until crushed.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over a low heat. Mix in the crushed biscuits. Spoon the mixture into the bottom of two wine glasses and press down to form an even layer. Be super careful not to break the glasses.
