Libsan (known as charlock mustard, wild mustard or field mustard) grows randomly in fields of wheat across Dakhla. Its dainty yellow flowers dot the open fields, making it easy for oasis communities to find and forage it. For generations, Dakhla dwellers have been known to forage libsan young before bitterness sets in.
