Apricot Drink

Amareldin paste (also called “apricot leather”) is made of sweetened and concentrated apricots that have been gently cooked and dried into soft, pliable sheets. When mixed with water, it becomes a refreshing drink with the same name - nectar-like in texture with a sweet apricot flavour. The drink is served chilled and commands a special place at the iftar table during the holy month of Ramadan.
