Salty-sweet, my favorite combo. These are incredibly simple to make, but my friends go nuts for them. I like serving these at cocktail time, usually with an Aperol spritz. I’m not a fan of cheese plates before dinner because they tend to be too filling, but I do love cheese, so these are a nice compromise. I get to have my cake (well, cheese) and eat it, too. If you can’t find fresh figs, try using sliced peaches.
