These chickpeas are the ideal snack at cocktail hour—crispy, salty, and smoky. The recipe is easily changed up, too: If you don’t want to do the smoked paprika, try cumin, chili powder, or Chinese five-spice powder, or just keep it simple with some sea salt. The possibilities are endless—just be sure to always, always have them with an ice-cold something or other.
