Cacio e Pepe Pizza

The bold flavors of cacio e pepe, the iconic Roman pasta, on a pizza. The creamy cheesy slices are spiked with a generous hand of freshly ground black pepper. The traditional cacao e pepe flavors are built on a base of black pepper ricotta cream. I was hesitant to break with tradition with the inclusion of cream and ricotta cheese, but one slice of the peppery-pasta-reminiscent richness changed all that.
