Bold chipotle peppers are an easy way to add an intriguing heat and smoky flavor to traditional BBQ sauce. Using apple cider vinegar and tomato sauce helps cut down the cloying sweetness of ketchup-based BBQ sauces that just don’t work on pizza. This sauce is great for saucing pizza but versatile enough to use anytime BBQ sauce is called for.
