As a kid, I was hooked on a certain roast beef and cheddar sandwich from a drive-thru we won’t name (but you probably know). That combo of tender beef and melty cheese sauce was my jam. Over time, I discovered the Baltimore pit beef sandwich and realized that roast beef could be so much better. Think rare, juicy beef with a perfect sear, homemade cheddar sauce, and a creamy horseradish kick to tie it all together. It’s everything little me loved—just grown-up and way more epic.
