Frizzled Shallots

Sometimes soup needs a little crunch. These frizzled shallots always do the job. Top your soup right before eating to keep them crisp. Watch them closely while cooking because the time they take to turn golden will vary greatly depending on the size of your shallot rings and how quickly your pan heats up. As soon as they’ve taken on a golden-brown color, remove from the heat immediately.
