I love the triple hit of sweet, spicy, and bright in this chutney. I kept this at a medium heat for my personal taste, but feel free to add more chile or leave in the seeds if you like more spice.

Ingredients

  • 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored, and cut into 2 in [5 cm] chunks
  • 1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 2 Tb

Method

  1. To the carafe of a high-speed blender, add the apple chunks, ginger, lime juice, green chile, and salt and blend until smooth. Add the mint and cilantro and blend for just a few seconds so that the leaves are mixed in and chopped but not completely incorporated. Taste and season with salt and lime juice as needed.
