Candied Bacon

If you are looking to add a pop of flavor, the mix of sweet and savory makes this bacon an ideal topping for most soups. In order to achieve even cooking, you’ll want to place the bacon on a wire rack (I use my cookie cooling rack), which allows air to circulate. I also wrap the baking sheet in foil for easy clean up and place that under the rack to catch the rendered bacon fat.
