Since we live in a landlocked area of the Midwest, Wyatt usually buys his shrimp frozen, but fresh would also work wonderfully if you have access to it (just skip thawing). He loves spicy food, so he finds that the touch of heat on the shrimp works wonderfully for soup toppers. If you aren’t a fan of spicy food, feel free to use less chili powder and swap in cumin or sweet paprika to tame the heat.
