A traditional Gujarati staple, Methi Thepla is a lightly spiced, soft flatbread made with fresh fenugreek leaves (methi), whole wheat flour, and yogurt, making it nutritious and flavorful. It’s one of my go-to travel foods because it stays soft for hours!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder

Method

Add the yogurt to the flour mixture and knead into a firm, smooth dough, adding a little water at a time. Add 2 tablespoons of oil to coat the dough and knead until it is firm and smooth.
