My husband has the green thumb in our family so I love raiding his abundant garden where he’s planted copious amounts of Thai herbs. Unlike Chinese stir-fries which use a lot of ginger, Thais like to use large quantities of aromatic herbs, like mint and basil, to flavor their dishes. Feel free to use Italian basil if you can’t find Thai basil. This dish works great with shrimp, beef, or pork as well.
