A client asked us to make an Asian-inspired dessert as a birthday surprise for his wife, using her favorite ingredients; bananas and walnuts. We scratched our heads for a while until my mother said, “I know! Let’s make Banana-Walnut Wontons.” Using store-bought candied walnuts makes this dessert super easy, even though it’s divinely decadent. We served the wontons in individual martini glasses that night over French vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce.
