20 large dates, split in half and pits removed

Method

Knead the marzipan until soft, then roll into 20 small oblong shapes to fit inside each of the dates.
Either dip each date into the melted chocolate to coat half or line up the dates on a baking tray lined and drizzle the chocolate over the top of them. Leave at room temperature to set, then place in petit four cases to serve.
