  • 250 ml/9 fl oz/1 cup double (heavy) cream

Method

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the cream and chocolate over a low heat, stirring with a wooden spoon until smooth. Remove the pan from the heat.
  2. Stir in the liqueur, if using, the sugar and vanilla extract. Serve warm.
