Everyone’s usual idea of a hash is corned beef fried with potatoes and onions. That’s exactly what I’m going to do with this cod hash: it’s composed of fried potatoes, Spring onions and chunks of cod. It could also be made in the classic way, using mashed potatoes and then frying the whole thing as a cake.
Boil the new potatoes for 25–30 minutes; this will overcook them, with the outside beginning to crumble. Once cooked and while still warm, peel the potatoes and cut in half. Slice the Spring onions into
