This has to be one of the easiest ice-cream recipes you will ever find. It is made simply with soft fruit, stock syrup, a squeeze of lemon and crème fraîche.

This recipe is for fresh fruits but tinned ones can be used – just purée almost any fruit in its own syrup, sweeten further, if necessary, with icing sugar and add a few tablespoons of crème fraîche and the ice-cream is made.
