To make the ultimate chocolate sauce, melt the chocolate with the cream in a bowl over a pan of hot water and once warm add the butter. You now have a thick, rich chocolate sauce. This is best eaten cold or just warm. Trying to serve this as a hot sauce will simply cause the butter to separate.
