I was born and raised in Tennessee, so it seems inevitable that I fry chicken. I love that every culture has a version of fried chicken: sticky gochujang-coated chicken from Korea, bite-size karaage dunked in mayonnaise in Japan, and buttermilk-brined chicken in the States.
