Ingredients

  • 1 kg (2 lbs) blackberries

Method

Reduce the orange juice to ½ cup (125 mL/4 fl oz) over a high heat. Add the sugar and cook to a soft ball stage (approximately 10 minutes). Add the berries and the rind and cook over a high heat for 10 minutes.

Heat the jars in a hot oven for 10 minutes. Fill the clean jars while still hot. When cool, cover the top of each jar with plastic wrap (cling film). Secure the tops with rubber
