This tart is spectacular to look at and will draw sighs of admiration from your guests. The recipe can be used with cherries, or blueberries or other soft fruits.
Cream the eggs, butter and sugar together in an electric mixer. Add the almond meal then fold in the flour.
Roll the shortcrust out to a thin sheet. Line a 30 cm (12 in.) tart case with the pastry and brush the inside of the tart case with plum jam.
