A small electric coffee grinder is indispensable for making your own curry paste. It can also be used for grinding herbs and spices for marinades. A mortar and pestle is also useful for grinding herbs and spices.
Grind the chili peppers until they turn into a paste. Add in all the other curry paste ingredients and grind to a thick paste.
Heat the oil in a deep frying pan or skillet until it is smoking and sauté the onion and lamb fillets together. Season with salt.
