Soak the bamboo skewers in water for 2 hours or overnight.
Skewer the prawns (shrimps) from the head to the tail so that they are kept straight.
Mix together the marinade ingredients. Marinate the prawns in the mixture for 2 hours before cooking, and baste them with the mix while cooking them.
