  • About

‘Chat’ is an Indian term for appetisers, palate teasers or small morsels eaten as a snack. This spice mix is used to flavour fried pastries, various potato preparations and tomato-based salads.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • ½ teaspoo

Method

Grind the whole spices to a fine powder and then stir in the remaining spices. Store in a sealed jar. Keeps for 2 weeks, but is best used soon after being made.
