This became one of our ‘star’ bar bites at the London restaurant, a firm favourite with the drinkers and bar diners. Instead of serving it with rice, we added slippery rice noodles with the beef as it was frying, so you have that option as well.
In a bowl, mix together the garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, honey, pepper and chilli with half the vegetable oil. Add the beef slices, mix well and leave to marinate for 1 hour.
