Ingredients: Pinch of cayenne; 2 Tbsp (30 mL) diced ginger; 3 Tbsp (45 mL) hot water; 2 cups (500 mL) peeled and finely diced russet potatoes; 1 cup (375 mL) lump Dungeness crab meat; 3 Tbsp (45 mL) diced onion; 3 Tbsp (45 mL) lemon juice; 1 Tbsp (15 mL) chopped ginger; 2 cups (500 mL) cilantro; ¼ cup (60 mL) water; ¼ tsp (1 mL) sugar; ¼ tsp (1 mL) cayenne; 2 Tbsp (30 mL) concentrated tamarind paste; 3 Tbsp (45 mL) brown sugar; Raisins; ½ tsp (2.5 mL) garam masala; 2 Tbsp (30 mL) unsalted butter; 1 tsp (5 mL) cumin; 2 tsp (10 mL) vegetable oil; Cilantro; 2 Tbsp (30 mL) chopped raisins; ¼ tsp (1 mL) turmeric; 2 cups (500 mL) all-purpose flour; 1 Tbsp (15 mL) diced garlic; ¼ tsp (1 mL) pepper; ½ tsp (2.5 mL) salt; ⅓ cup (80 mL) whipping cream; 2 Tbsp (30 mL) chopped dried apricots; ⅓ cup (80 mL) frozen peas; 2 Tbsp (30 mL) crushed tomatoes

Unless you have been in a cave for the last 20 years, you’ve probably had butter chicken. This recipe takes the best parts of that recipe, but 1 cup (375 mL) lump Dungeness replaces the chicken with crab.
