My favorite part of this recipe is the crispy sweet potato fries. I rarely deep fry at home, but these are worth the fuss! If you have not made smash burgers at home, you need to get on that! The meat gets so crusty and caramelized, yummo!
Fill an 8-inch-wide pot with 3½ to 4 inches of avocado oil. Alternatively, you could use organic expeller-pressed sunflower or safflower oil, which is a bit less expensive.
