  • About

These pink-flecked cookies became a staff favorite the first time I made them. The tart glaze contrasts with the sweet white chocolate to make a great flavor combination. These would be a beautiful addition to a holiday table or a pretty springtime dessert.

Ingredients

Cookies

  • cups [350 g] all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp ground sumac

Method

Preheat the oven to 350°F [180°C]. Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.

To make the cookies: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sumac, sea salt, and baking powder. Set aside.

Combine the butter and sugar in the bowl of a mixer
